The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) release a landmark report in October 2022 outlining a pathway for New Zealand's electricity sector to help the country reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
Under the plan, the electricity sector in Aotearoa will contribute up to 70% of the gross emissions reductions required to reach the goal.
